about

After obtaining a Doctorat en Architecture, Isabelle de Louw went on to study at the Institut des Beaux-Arts de St Luc in Liège, Belgium. This enabled her to fulfill her real passion for Interior Design and all that it entails, and she then obtained her diploma of Interior Architect with merit.

She continued in this line, building her experience as an architecte d’intérieur with a Brussels firm, at the heart of a team of 25 staff. This then lead on to being responsible for the Showroom of the renowned label ‘KNOLL’, also in Brussels. She also worked in the marketing, communication and administration sector for a leading editor and distributer of an up and coming art and design magazine Project Design.

This continual work experience has given her a complete and rounded base for both architecture and design, as well as a vast knowledge of the many different styles and products on today’s market.

Isabelle and her family installed themselves in Lausanne, Switzerland, and she then went on to independently start-up her own business in 2010 – ma coach déco – after noticing a gap in the market. This has enabled her to build up a solid list of clients through her ability as a Coach for innumerable interior decorating projects in the area. She guides her clients with humour, force of character, imagination and tact through all the various stages of the creation of their dream home.
